There are plenty of ways to get around Hong Kong, whether it’s by taxi, ferry, rail, bus or tram. The city claims one of the world's safest, most efficient and frequent public transport systems and a convenient payment method in the form of the Octopus Card.
Getting around Hong Kong to enjoy its world-class attractions couldn't be easier with the quick and efficient Mass Transit Railway (MTR) system. This covers all major districts in the territory, including stops at the boundary with Mainland China (Lo Wu Station and Lok Ma Chau Station).

How to get to Sai Kung bus terminus from HK Island: take the MTR to Hang Hau station (Island Line to North Point, change to the Tseung Kwan O line to Hang Hau - needs a train going to Po Lam); take exit B1; turn left immediately on exiting the concourse and go through the opening in front of you to the bus/minibus station; look for the Green Minibus number 101M (take the crossing across the first lane and it's right there on the second lane); pay by Octopus when you board, and travel to the end of the route (about 20-25 minutes). When you get off the minibus, walk in the direction that the minibus is pointing, past the public toilets and the bus station is right in front of you. We generaly meet in the line for the #94 bus to Wong Shek.
